Surly Rim Strips have one job and they do it well. They cover the cutouts in your rim and — if you're running a tube — they protect it from spoke heads and other sharp matter (okay, so maybe they have TWO jobs but they do them both really well.) Rim strips are crucial and should be used with all Surly rims. Ours come in an array of colors so you can really "express yourself." Surly Rim strips are available in two different materials: PVC and Nylon. PVC is great if you plan on only running tubes. However, if there's any part of you that wants to try this tubeless thing you've been hearing about, Nylon strips are just the ticket. They're thinner and offer minimal stretch so they stay put and lay nicely inside the rim to provide a secure seal. Plus, they're lighter which we all know means you'll go faster… maybe.

The Surly Hurdy Gurdy is a stainless-steel chain tensioner designed to prevent rear wheel slippage in semi-horizontal, forward-facing dropouts, like those on the Surly Cross-Check. Its construction provides long-term durability, while dual axle holes allow for a wide range of fore/aft wheel adjustment. Compatible with standard quick-release skewers, bolted axles, and nutted axles up to 10mm.

This handy piece replaces the wheel yoke of your Surly Bill or Ted trailer and inserts into the horizontal tubes on the non-drive side of your Surly Big Dummy cargo bike, thereby making it possible to haul your trailer using your cargo bike. The Surly TPU, or Thermoplastic Urethane, tube is a tough, airtight material lighter than traditional butyl innertubes. It is designed exclusively for the Surly Molenda tire, and allowed for a custom, oversized 6.2" width that maintains its structure, even when operating at low pressures. With the TPU tube installed, you can air down your Molenda tire to maximize contact patch for better flotation, traction, and overall performance.

Hi, I'm the Surly Lightweight Neck Toob. You might remember me from such films as “It's Cold! Don't Forget Your Neck Toob!" and “Look At This Thing, It Came From a Sheep!" Right now you might be thinking, “But Surly, I already have a Neck Gaiter from you guys. Do I really need a Neck Toob?" And the answer is maybe. Unlike the existing Neck Gaiter, which is made of a light inner layer and a midweight outer layer, I'm made of two lightweight layers. For those days when it's too chilly to leave your face and neck exposed but not cold enough for the full-blown Gaiter, I try to provide a nice, moisture-wicking alternative. In today’s fast-paced world of riseless flat bars and far-too-aggressive-for-our-liking cockpits, Surly harkens back to simpler times. Most of you don’t need the cargo capacity to land a helicopter on your rack. Sometimes, all you want to do is grab a sixer from the beer store on the way home or pick up a nice bouquet of flowers. For whatever the situation dictates, we offer the 8-Pack Rack. The 8-Pack Rack is a solid pedestal upon which you may rest a handlebar bag, grocery bag, minaudière, satchel…or whatever you use to carry your bowling ball around. The 8-Pack Rack attaches to most forks with mid-blade and crown eyelets. This 94 BCD 5-bolt ring will serve all your Vintage crankset and Surly OD crankset needs. - Fits any 94 BCD 5-bolt crankset (modification may be needed) - Drop-Stop technology. This fine pair of Surly 10/12 Adapter Washers is designed to adapt any 135, 170, or 190mm O.L.D. QR axle hub with a 142, 177 or 197mm spaced thru-axle frame. Make sure the QR axle on your wheel is the right length for the frame spacing. For instance: 190mm OLD QR goes with 197mm thru-axle spacing.

Dummy Rails support Dummy Bags on your Big Dummy cargo bike, and Surly's Dummy Deck bolts directly to them, stiffening the whole system for a more stable load. Dummy Rails are made of light, strong aluminum and were designed in conjunction with the Dummy Deck and Dummy Bags; each component works best when used with the others. Like all Surly products, they've built in lots of useful details. For example, the deck-attachment bosses stick up from the rails to create space between the deck and rails, providing windows to route tie-down straps and cordage; and threaded bottle cage bosses located at the rear of each rail provide mounting locations for accessories: bottle cages of course, or lights, cameras, pumps, flags, horns, light saber scabbards, disco balls, spittoons, cornucopias, etc. Dummy Rails will work with cargo frames (including the Surly Big Dummy) built around Xtracycle's longtail standards.

One of the coolest things about Surly is if they can't find an existing part that fits their standards, they just make one themselves. This cable hanger is made to fit around the oversize bolt on their Constrictor seatpost clamp so you can be sure it will fit around almost any other seatpost clamp bolt too. It comes complete with an adjusting barrel.
