Here's what people are saying about Pedal Power :
Visiting Pedal Power is always a pleasant experience. The employees are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Another great quality they have is patience. I work near Pedal Power and would often walk in during my lunch breaks to look at bikes and accessories. For a year and a half whenever I would stop in to look at bikes someone would always greet me with a smile, answer my questions, and take the time to explain and show me some of the different features on the bikes, which I was unfamiliar with. I know that people in sales are suppose to do that but for a quite a while I talked about getting a bike and they could have easily stopped taking the extra time to go over the bikes time and time again but they didn't and thank goodness the day finally came when I had enough money saved up to finally purchase the bike. I look forward to many more years of great business with them. Thank You.
I want to thank your sales and repair staff at Pedal Power for correcting the shifting on my new bike I purchased two months ago. You went out of your way to make sure the bike shifts perfectly by upgrading the old crank for a new Shimano 105 on my Giant OCR 2 Composite bike. I have to tell you it has been a joy to ride! After 200+ miles on it over the last couple of weeks it's still shifting great! I'd also like to thank Gary for the bike fitting. Not only did it help pick the best bike for me, but it also corrected my lower back pain, knee soreness and neck soreness from cycling. Thanks again!
Thank you for all the wonderful service you gave me as I was choosing a bike. All of you were very helpful in giving me information, measuring me and letting me test ride different options. Then, you went above and beyond the call of duty by assisting my husband upgrade my choice. I was speechless when I got the Trek Pilot 5.9 and he was very pleased that he managed to pull off the surprise. Two days after I had the bike fitted, I completed the Lobster Roll Century with no aches or pains. As a result of the informationI received during the fitting, I have been paying attention to my pedal stroke and working on my core strength. My goal was to be able to ride with faster people and yesterday I rode 75+ miles with the Thread City Cyclers A/B group. Amazingly, I was not the rate determining factor of the group! No one had to wait for me either going up or down the hills. Thanks again for such great service. I'm hoping that when my fellow riders see how much difference a new bike has made for me, they'll be flocking in to buy their own.

My family has been coming to Pedal Power for some years. The staff is extremely helpful and they know their stuff. They were patient and cheerful while we must have tried on every kid's helmet in the store, trying to find one that fit my youngest son. I felt that they valued bike safety and a successful experience above all. The service department has been great at everything from routine tune-ups, and flat tires that won't stay fixed, to resurrecting a child's wrecked bike. The staff at Pedal Power work to meet the needs and budget of everyone from the elite cyclist down to the casual biking family.
I think the group rides you offer are awesome. What a great way to get people into riding. I also think the staff is super friendly and helpful. I live in Colchester, and although I have a local bike shop that is ~2 mins from my house, I find myself coming back to Pedal Power because of the staff.
A quick note to thank the shop - Gary, Bill, Steve and anyone I missed - for help in selecting parts and building the full suspension bike. After 7+ years on a hard tail - I've converted after 10 hrs on the bike! Full suspension is the Third Dimension of MTB. The build quality from Pedal Power is perfect - all parts working as they should and better. Pedal Power is THE place to go for a "Pro" build in CT - doesn't matter how or what you ride - Pedal Power builds it to right. Thanks again.
I had a really great experience with Pedal Power. Very attentive, nice employees who saw that I was helped the moment I came in. I don't know much about bikes, and I feel like the staff simultaneously knows everything about bikes, but doesn't make me feel stupid for not knowing.

I was riding my bike off and on this past year with not much success because of pain in my lower back, arms, and hands. I thought about not riding much more this year. I decided to spend the money and get a custom fit adjustments performed by Gary to see if the riding would be enjoyable again like in my younger days. Well, after the very good fitting done by Gary, I found out that my bike needed some adjustments with very little cost. I started my biking journey after words and found the pain I used to have was gone. I started riding the Monday shop group rides and went from the c to b group ride. I also set a goal for myself in 2006 for the completing of my first century ride (100 miles). I completed the century ride in 5hr 44min with an average speed of 17.8 mph with very little pain. I have to thank Gary and the staff of Pedal Power for making my biking enjoyable again and the extra bonus of me loosing 24 pounds. Thank you all for your support from a very happy customer and looking forward to 2007 bike riding. Take care,

Buying my first road bike from Pedal Power led to the purchase of a bike that fit perfectly and has given me hundreds of miles on the nicest bike I have ever ridden. The attention I received when shopping was far more than purchasing a car. My wife returned with me a month later and purchased her first road bike and she too is happy with what she bought. A great store.
Pedal Power has always come through for me, no matter how small the issue. I first went in just looking for options on replacing parts on my bike, and ended up a loyal customer.
The prices, advice, and knowledge are top shelf, and are always available, even when no purchase is made.
Everyone I've dealt with at PP have gone above and beyond to answer every question and provide thoughtful and informed opinions.
Pedal Power is by far the best bike shop in the state. The reason is simple. You get a friendly hello when you walk in the door, you get expert advise and a fair price. When you take your business to Pedal Power you get customer service the way it should be.
Well considering I'm always at the shop I'm pretty sure that's enough proof that you have a good shop... the only thing i really have to say is that the people working there kick ass....and you never get sick of seeing me walk through the shop 10 times a day...well at least you dont tell me that you are.
No kidding, I went to seven bike shops. In the end I went back to the first, PEDAL POWER. It wasn't just the bike! I'm 63 and back into riding. It was the care, the concern and the knowledge that solidfied my choice. In the end Customer Service is really what matters most.
